On 20–21 September, Tribe 13 conducted a comprehensive Trauma Medicine – Stop the Bleed and Basic Life Support Course for the UAE Embassy Diplomatic Security and Protection Team.

Led by Instructor Matei Florin, the two-day course focused on essential life-saving skills designed specifically for those operating in high-risk protection roles. From rapid bleeding control to fundamental life support techniques, the training provided critical tools every Protector must have.

"Sharing these life-saving skills with such dedicated individuals brings me the greatest satisfaction, knowing they are now better prepared Protectors." — Matei Florin

TRIBE 13 NEWS | CAMP 002: URBAN ENVIRONMENT (07–13 April)

CAMP 002: Urban Environment has been successfully completed, delivering an intense and immersive training experience focused on operating in complex urban environments under non-permissive conditions.

Held between 07–13 April, the program brought together participants for a high-level, hands-on course combining real-world scenarios with expert instruction. The objective: develop tactical awareness, resilience, and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.

Participants were challenged across a wide range of modules, including Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), Covert Communications, Escape & Evasion, and Surveillance/Counter-Surveillance. Combat-focused training included knife work (TCS), force-on-force scenarios, and transitions between empty hands and weapons.

Beyond combat, CAMP 002 emphasized the importance of a complete Protector skillset. Trauma Medicine, information gathering, and operating in covert environments reinforced the need for adaptability across multiple domains.

While many attendees came from military, law enforcement, and private security backgrounds, the core message remained clear: a Protector must be versatile, capable, and ready to operate in any environment.

CAMP 002 was not just training,  it was a test of mindset, discipline, and operational readiness.

More to come.
